INSTALLING CONTROL SOFTWARE

Installing some control software for the rig Win4YaesuSuite I am going to use the free 30 day trial and if I like the program I will pony up the $60 bucks I will put a link to the software below.

First they demanded you ferrite your USB cable and ensured us the clip on beads we all are using (or the ferrite cable I use) is junk and you must lol

Iniial set up typical stuff set com port. you can find your com port in the device manager on you computer

The Two ports for my Yaesu DX10 are Enhanced COM3 and Standard COM4 Silicone labs... on my computer yours will vary determine prior to install typically use the Enhanced port for most control software COM3

I do not understand Panadapter right now so I am not enabling this portion of the set up. I did however assign COM3 (will possibly be different on your computer) here is an opportunity to create some macros and assign some auto launch buttons, I decided for the sake of brevity in setting up I would just basically set it up and add macros and autolaunches as needed. Also if needed you can set the accessibility settings.

The Fix herp a derp got to connect the com port silly me forgot to push the connect button hi hi….

Of course right off the bat lol cool CW features and a QRZ look up feature…

The Software Suite with the External Monitor hooked up seems to be a very nice pair

Mission accomplished

seems pretty awesome I am going to experiment with it for the free 30 day trial and see if I wanna purchase it for 60 balloons
